Newly-designated Environment Secretary Roy A. Cimatu (upper photo) calls for solidarity in protecting the environment as he vowed to protect the environment “in all its forms” and to promote the wise and proper use of the natural resources “for the public good.”  Lower photo shows officials and employees of DENR witnessing in earnest the transfer of DENR leadership from outgoing Secretary Gina Lopez, whose bid to get the approval of the Commission on Appointments failed.  The turnover ceremony was held Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at the DENR Social Hall.  ###
