Go present the memorandum of agreement for the rehabilitation of Wetland No. 8 in Brgy. Manoc-manoc in Boracay island under the DENR’s Adopt-a-wetland Program. Cimatu said the adoption of the wetland by the JG Summit was a “positive step towards biodiversity conservation.”Under the agreement, JGSPC commits to rehabilitate the wetland at no cost to the government, and to prioritize the adjacent local communities for any suitable employment opportunities. The MOA signing was held Thursday at the DENR office in Quezon City. ###
