Lanit, Jaro, Iloilo City. Team of volunteers from other national government agencies such as the Bureau of Customs (middle photo) and the Department of Labor and Employment (right photo) actively supported the activity. Five hundred eighty (580) seedlings of Golden Showers were planted during the activity. The whole stretch of the Radial By-Pass Road is planned to also be planted with Caballero and Fire Tree. This activity is in close coordination with the Department of Public Works and Highways to conform with their road widening project.

Also joining DENR in this endeavor are the PIA, Bureau of Fire, PNP Regional Police Community Relations Division, BIR, DOT, DepEd, Landbank of the Philippines, and the WV Sanitarium. Arbor is a Latin word for tree and is celebrated as a holiday in many parts of the world.
