Dalanas River Watershed Forest Reserve

           The Dalanas River Watershed Forest Reserve was proclaimed by virtue of Presidential Proclamation No. 603 dated June 28, 1990 by former Pres. Corazon C. Aquino with an area of 8,558 hectares. However, based on the computation made by Land Evaluation Party in 2001 and on the prescribed Technical Description (TD) resulted to only 5,640.89 hectares using the DMD Method and falls under the jurisdiction of the Municipality of Barbaza, Antique covering five (5) barangays namely Idao, Langkaon, Marigne, Mayabay and Nalusdan.
