Environment Secretary Regina Paz Lopez welcomes and accepts a token from Dr. Saamdu Chetri, Executive Director of Bhutan’s Gross National Happiness (GNH) Centre at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport VIP Lounge. Dr. Chetri is to deliver inspirational messages in a series of activities across the country, to impart the GNH aspiration in striking a balance between the spiritual and material aspects of life, particularly in achieving happiness by being one with nature and the environment. Sec. Lopez has expressed confidence that the Philippines can adopt the GNH concept of human development because Filipinos are a naturally happy people. ###
