Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Secretary Roy A. Cimatu welcomes participants and delegates to the East Asian Seas (SEAS) Congress 2018. Cimatu enjoined everyone to actively participate in seeking solutions to the challenges besetting the seas of East and Southeast Asia through transboundary cooperation, valuation studies, green financing, and implementation of integrated coastal management. The triennial event, which is co-sponsored by the DENR and the Partnerships in Environmental Management for the Seas of East Asia, is being held at the Iloilo Convention Center in Iloilo City from on November 27-30, 2018. ###
