Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Undersecretary Analiza Rebuelta-Teh leads participants attending the 2nd National Wildlife Law Enforcement Summit in signing the commitment board to combat illegal wildlife trade and indiscriminate destruction of wildlife habitats in the country. The commitment signing highlights the launching of the new project “Combatting Environmental Organized Crime in the Philippines” held in consonance with the wildlife summit held November 20-23, 2018 in Clark, Pampanga. Teh said the new project will be implemented by the DENR through its Biodiversity Management Bureau (BMB), in partnership with local and international law enforcement agencies, including the International Consortium on Combating Wildlife Crime, CITES and INTERPOL, and supported by the Asian Development Bank-Global Environmental Facility (ADB-GEF). ###
