Celebrating unity, joy, and thanksgiving this yuletide season, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region 6 conducts its Year-End Assessment and Team Building Activity on December 19, 2023, at the DENR Regional Office Courtyard.

The said activity was done simultaneously with the agency’s central office and regional offices across the country.

“I would like to remind everyone that amidst all the merriment, let’s not forget the meaning of the season…We are commemorating the birth of our savior, Christ Emmanuel, and the message of peace. Marami pong salamat and let’s continue to work together next year for the delivery of our mission to our country,” DENR Secretary Maria Antonia Yulo Loyzaga said in her message via Zoom.

In addition, key DENR 6 officials were in full force during the activity led by Regional Executive Director Livino B. Duran, together with Assistant Regional Directors Andres T. Untal for Management Services, Raul L. Lorilla for Technical Services, and Ivene D. Reyes for Special Concerns. Also in attendance were the Chiefs of the different divisions and their staff.

In his message, RED Duran thanked all officials and staff of the regional office for their efforts and dedication to their duties for the year 2023 and expressed his well wishes for everyone this holiday season.

“Please, baluna ninyo pakadto sa inyo mga panimalay, the care and love for your family and friends. Isa lang ang pangayuon ko sa tanan before we close the year 2023, settle naton ang tanan nga responsibilities diri sa opisina para at least, may ara kita peace of mind when 2024 comes. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, everyone!” RED Duran said.

Targets and accomplishments of the different divisions in the regional office for the year 2023 was also presented to the officials and staff.

Aside from the thanksgiving mass that was offered, team building activities as well as a Tik-Tok Dance Mash-Up Contest and Karaoke Battle Royale was actively participated by the employees representing their respective units. Many also won cash prizes during the raffle draw.
