Boracay residents and guests will soon have a new kind of riding experience when Grab electric buses start to ply the island’s main road when it reopens on October 26. Grab will field eight of its 50 buses for free on opening day until December 2018. The buses are fully air-conditioned, equipped with CCTV and wi-fi. The e-buses will pick up and drop off passengers only in designated bus stops. The buses are part of the partnership between the Department of Transportation and Grab to help reduce air pollution and lessen the carbon footprint of the world famous island destination. ###
